  1.                        PUMA, LYNX and JMODEM Scripts for
  2.                                    TELIX 3.XX

  6.    Setting up external protocols for Telix has always been a bitch.  A few
  7. months ago, a person named Paul Robb made the PUMASLT programs for Telix to
  8. ease up your ul/dl files with the PUMA protocol.
  9.     I had a feeling PUMA should be similar to LYNX so I decided to view the
  10. SALT files he made up.
  11.     I found that SALT programming wasn't all that hard, so I experimented a
  12. little and I ended up comming up with LYNX and JMODEM scripts easily. (The .SLC
  13. files have been compiled with the TELIX compiler.

  15.     So this is all you have to do with these .SLC files in TELIX

  29.      That's all there is to it! Just go to the (P)rotocol options in the
  30. Configuration of Telix.

  32.     Please note:

  34.               - PUMASLT was originally by Paul Robb, I used his files to create
  35.                 the other Protocol scripts. I'm sure he wouldn't mind.

  37.               - Jmodem can not be a batch transfer for both ul/dl
  38.  
  39.               - You must set your ul/dl directories and paths in the
  40.                 (F)ilenames and Paths configuration.

  42.               - This works only for Telix 3.XX

  44.               - The A Protocol is empty, I haven't picked one yet, Just wait
  45.                 until later when a new one becomes popular.

  47.               - UPLOAD.SLT and DOWNLOAD.SLT was originally what the PUMASLT
  48.                 programs looked like before Compilation. (Create your own?)
